Music 4 Toddlers

When Cold Winds Blow! - Let it snow - let it snow! - Our musical theme brings winter weather fun to our music & movement class. Sounds abound as we sing, move and explore metal instruments; such as bells, tambourines, triangles, gongs and more.

Session 2: February 18 - March 10 (4/class)

Rum-pum-pum; Beating the Drum is Lots of Fun! Drumming and Steady Beat are explored in this session. Many different types of Drums are explored as we move and sing to the beat of the Drum.

Session 3: March 17 - April 14 (4/classes)

Spring has Sprung! - The sounds of Spring abound as we sing, move and explore wood instruments; such as rhythm sticks, woodblocks, Kokoris, guiro and more.

Music Around the World! Get your passport ready to take a musical journey! Learn folk songs, children's games, dances, and play musical instruments from around the world.

Music 4 Youth

Learn to play the Music of the Masters on Musical Tubes called Boomwackers and various Orff Instruments.

Session 1: January 21 - February 11 (4/classes) Learn to play (The William Tell Overture - often associated as the theme from the Lone Ranger) - by Gioacchino Rossini and The Surprise Symphony No. 94: Second Movement by Joseph Haydn with its loud crashing surprise chord! And more.

Session 2: February 18 - March 10 (4/classes) We continue our Boomwacker fun with new music and learn the theme from Star Wars, Over the Rainbow, from the Wizard of Oz and 2001: A Space Odyssey and more. (No prior experience needed to join session 2)

Session 3: March 17 - April 14 (4/classes) We conclude our Boomwacker fun on Broadway - learn songs from the following Broadway musicals: Annie, Ggodspell and more. (No prior experience needed to join session 3)


Voice Audition Techniques
(Ages 12 & UP) Instructor: Frank Klingensmith
Saturdays 11 am – 12 pm [Music Studio 2, second floor]

12-week program: January 21 - April 12. Learn to sing as a group and solo in this intensive vocal training class. Sight singing, note recognition, pitch and proper breathing technique will also be taught. (Materials provided).


Creative Drum Circle
(All Ages) Instructor: Toeknee Bailey
Saturdays 12 pm – 1 pm [Music Studio 2, second floor]

Learn a variety of African-inspired rhythms and beats.
