Middle Eastern "Belly" Dance (ages 15 - adult)

Middle Eastern Dance, commonly known as Belly Dance, is an elegant art form with ancient roots. Coming from a variety of cultures, there are many theories regarding the birth of this respected art. From gypsies traveling on the Silk Road to birthing rituals, all theories pulled together represent different elements of the dance. This dance transcends the boundaries of age, gender and culture.
This beginner level class will focus on the basic movements of Belly Dance from your head to your feet. We will start off the class with a warm up and end with a fun combination. Please dress comfortably and prepare to go barefoot.
