For over 40 years, Focus on Renewal has been the place to turn for health and social services in Sto-Rox. Three years ago, it also became a home for the arts. With the opening of the Father Ryan Arts Center in 2008, young and old have had a place to go for arts education (to learn and perform dance, acting, musical theater, pottery, stained glass, drawing and painting), and to view live performances by local and regional artists and art exhibits. This Center has brought together people from across the community and, through great partnerships with schools, arts organizations and other groups, it is truly a center that serves our whole county.
To support the Center and to celebrate its third year, we are asking if you would consider sponsoring An Evening in Wonderland, the October 15 event to benefit the Father Ryan Arts Center’s wonderful arts and educational programs.
We’ll hold the event at the Father Ryan Arts Center, right in the heart of McKees Rocks (a.k.a., that great town on the Ohio River, just a few miles from Station Square). It will be a night of live performances, art exhibits, auctions, whimsical games, costume contest (guests are encouraged to dress in costumes inspired by Lewis Carroll's beloved classics "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" & "Through the Looking Glass"), as well as a variety of dishes and libations.
This is going to be a fun night, with people from all over the city and county turning-out to support the Center, named in honor of FOR’s executive director, Father Regis Ryan. Information on sponsorship levels and benefits/recognition for your support is listed below.
